 Pet-Friendly Travel in Big Bend Though quite a long drive from Houston, the Big Bend area was absolutely worth the road trip. We loaded up the baby and the pup, stopped one night in San Antonio, and then continued on to Big Bend via Alpine.  Pet-Friendly Travel in Dallas, TX With mandatory quarantine periods still in effect in many parts of the world, we are postponing any international travel until 2022. But that doesn't mean we aren't traveling. To celebrate my 37th trip around the sun, we drove to Dallas to spend a few days exploring, eating, and spending time together as a family - including our four-legged "son."
