A Foodie's Guide to San Antonio
San Antonio is known for military bases, Spanish missions, and the Riverwalk, to name a few. But, with its fall-off-the-bone BBQ, spicy Tex Mex, and first-class taco trucks, it should be famous as a foodie town as well.

Check out some of our
favorite restaurants in San Antonio.

Augie's BBQ

1. Augie's Barbed Wire SMokehouse

I first experienced the magic of Augie's BBQ at its Broadway location during a solo stop in San Antonio. Delighted with the tenderness of the meats and the flavors of the sides, I eagerly brought Marvin with me the next time we were in San Antonio together. Since then we've visited the Broadway location twice more, and checked out the beer garden at the Smokehouse on St Mary's. We just can't get enough of Augie's BBQ! For a spicy kick, try the jalapeno sausage!
