For our anniversary, Marvin and I drove from Houston over to historic New Braunfels, Texas, near San Antonio. Unable to bear the thought of leaving our six-month-old puppy with a sitter, we took him along and planned our meals around places that were pet-friendly.

Muck and Fuss

We enjoyed Muck and Fuss so much the first time that we returned a second time. Their burgers are amazing, the fried green tomatoes delicious, and the mac and cheese divine. They'll even bring your four-legged friend a bowl of water and a dog biscuit.

Einstein loved his New Braunfels vacation. Pets are allowed at the quaint little railroad museum, and we were allowed to carry him through many of the shops in downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. You'll love the colorful murals and numerous antiques shops and boutiques.

I highly recommend a visit to New Braunfels. Don't hesitate to bring your furry family members as well!
