For our anniversary, Marvin and I drove from Houston over to historic New Braunfels, Texas, near San Antonio. Unable to bear the thought of leaving our six-month-old puppy with a sitter, we took him along and planned our meals around places that were pet-friendly. Pets are allowed at the quaint little railroad museum, and we were allowed to carry him through many of the shops in downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. You'll love the colorful murals and numerous antiques shops and boutiques.
I highly recommend a visit to New Braunfels. Don't hesitate to bring your furry family members as well!
