“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” Though Eleanor Roosevelt probably was not speaking specifically about travel, her words echo the feelings of those who have a strong sense of wanderlust who are continually searching for new, rich experiences. “To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, To gain all while you give, To roam the roads of lands remote, To travel is to live.” Hans Christian Andersen wrote these words in his autobiography, The Fairy Tale of My Life. We completely concur, Mr. Andersen. Though many of our roads have been through lands that aren't terribly remote, we do enjoy the finding quiet, out-of-the-way places to explore. We travel in order to "taste experience" and to grab new adventures by the horns. For us, travel is life. You may also want to read:
